Hi there.

I have a PC running MythBuntu. It's recording TV shows as mpg files. The filenames represent station and time of recording.

When I want to burn a recorded movie to DVD, I have to use this rather cryptic name, or copy the file to get it to have a meaningful name (or rename, burn, rename again).

Is there a way to burn a file to an optical drive giving it another name on the media than the file had on harddisk?

In k3b, you can add files to a project, then rename them, without changing the file names on the hard drive.
