Can The Calculate Live isos be booted from a multiboot driver?
Hi!
I always travel with an usb driver containing iso files for several Linux distros. After testing Calculate dd-ed on an usb driver with success and installing it on 3 test machines I would now like to add it to my multi isos usb. My first attempts have not been successful, so I wonder if this is possible at all, before i start more serious testing and eventually prepare a post to seek help if it comes to that. |
I don't know about booting the iso directly from grub, However it is possible to extract the vmlinuz, initrd, livecd.squashfs from the iso to a directory and boot the files with grub.

For what you want, I'd use Ventoy - https://www.ventoy.net/en/index.html

I found a solution at https://forum.calculate-linux.org/t/...o-file/11336/4 and I was able to boot from the iso file. Thanks for you answer ! |
