Slack15 k 5.15.145 not support 12th gen igpu; -current does

As title. I wanted to use 15.0 fully updated on my new workstation/database server, but the kernel, 5.15.145 does not support the igpu on the 12900k that beats within. In the end, decided to try -current live, it worked, installed -current to the machine and it still worked less the weird suspend problem being worked on at the moment which doesn't really impact this 24hr machine.

Was there a better, more stable way to get 6.6.x kernel on this slackware machine, or should I just ride the bumps and hiccups of -current till the coming of 15.1 (or 16, or whatever its named)....

Its not a production facing machine, its just for my internal dev use, so a reset or inconvenience here and there is not a total dealbreaker.

It seems stable enough so far.

thoughts?

I run the -current kernel on 15.0.

Hmmm. May have to give that a try before I button it all up and call it working. Not sure which sounds more stable to me though, -current as designed or 15.0 + 6.6.x kernel. May have to actually stress-test it a bit and see if anything shakes loose.

Why not try a Redhat Kernel Instead of Vanilla Kernel.
The people of Red Hat say RHEL is certified Intel Gen 12 since RHEL 8.6.
