Hi there, firstly this OS Rocks. I have hit a few snags, like adding the extra modules totally borks Xorg, but after learning how to "re-package" addons, and about 10 re-installs later, all is good. Now i want to use Pithos. The issue is, it requires Python 3.x as of the latest version. Can i just go and download python, or do the Dev's need to "prepackage" an addon first?
Ok im back... good holidays and all. firstly i would like to ask if 4M has a fully implemented chroot setup?
I ask because it seems that after building (Python3) from source to make an addon i would need to chroot (to make an addon) rather than just installing python. i would like to help you make addons, because i believe in this OS and see it's huge amount of potential.
if 4m does not support chroot, or doesn't have it setup, i would like an alternative (jails?), unless im missing something.
