Grub configuration files

The easiest way to fiddle with grub is to go to its configuration file. I think it's at /boot/grub/menu.lst but I'm at work and my Arch install is kind of new (and at home).

Be careful if you try to edit the file - you don't want to break grub or you'll have to start over.

What is it that you're having a problem with?

Of course you should ever be carefull when messing with configuration-files (make backups before editing), but you don't have to start over if you have a disfunctional grub. Start from a live-CD (maybe your install disc) and edit the files or chroot into the system.

But anyways, as juggarnatha already asked, please explain your problem.

I did not create a partition for grub the /boot partition.
But I did just install "Grub" in /dev/sda with no partition number.
