Hi,

Our server having 10gbps Ethernet card. We have reinstalled our server from centos7 to centos6. But network devices not recognised after installation of centos6. I have tried to setup network manually from KVm access. but wont help.

Any know about this issue and how to fix it?

What is the make and model of that NIC adapter?
Are there detection lines for it in the DMESG report?
Why are you stepping back from CentOS7 to CentOS6? Did you record any of the CentOS7 device configuration data?
Are you keeping a Continuity document?
Have you full backups from the last time it was working?

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

What is the make and model of that NIC adapter?

Driver :bnx2x
Version: 1.712.30-0
Frimware version: bc 7.13.75

Are there detection lines for it in the DMESG report?

We are providing hosting support. SolusVM control panel templates not working in centos7 nodes. That's why we have degraded centos7 to centos 6

Are you keeping a Continuity document?

We are following same centos6 default network configuration. But centos7 automatically detects 10Gbps network interface while installing os

Have you full backups from the last time it was working?

We doesn't have old configuration file backup.

Known issue: back down to kernel 2.6.32-220.el6 and it should work. OR, you could add a newer kernel that has the fix (kernel-2.6.32-573.el6
or later). It took me about 20 seconds to find this using DuckDuckGo or Google. It is well documneted on the RedHat forum site.
