With the latest update I can not print from Firefox (version 78.12) to my network printer. I get a filter error but all other apps I have tried and printing from the command line works.
In addition I can print to a file and to a simple raw printer backend which is basically a print to file printer. The saved file looks ok which is a PDF file and I can print from a PDF viewer.
I assume it is a Firefox problem but I did not pay attention to the what else was updated so I am at a loss as to where else I might look.
I've been lucky and never encountered this (and I've never had a Brother printer) but I turned up at an Arch forum that might help you make some progress: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=218970
