Question CD with MyDSL packages not mounting on 380D Thinkpad.

I can't get it to mount, I bring up the mounting tool and try to mount it but it comes up with an error. My laptop is a 380D Thinkpad with either 8 or 16 mb of ram. I can't hook it up to the internet so that is out of the question. I also installed it to the hard-drive and I tried putting the packages on floppies. Thanks for the help!

EDIT: Also, any other good OSes that can play games and write documents with 16 or 8 mb of ram? Thank YOU!

anyway you can add ram to it?

is your install a frugal install or a hard drive install?

if it's frugal then I think it's mounting the drive on /cdrom

mkdir /mnt/hdc
mount /dev/hdc /mnt/hdc

it may be sr0, hdc, etc

only OS I know of that has X on that low of ram is the floppy.img of KolibriOS 0.7.7.0
http://www.kolibrios.org/

see here I have the floppy.img on CD
http://linux.softpedia.com/get/Syste...II-55542.shtml

convert the isolinux.cfg entry for Kolibrios to grub or grub2
you know how to do that?
you gotta use memdisk to boot it
thats in /usr/lib/syslinux or /usr/share/syslinux

I can add ram to it, but I don't have any at the moment.

EDIT: Seemed to work for sr0 but then it says things like wrong filesystem type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sr0,
or too many mounted filesystems.
EDIT 2: SOLVED! I formatted a floppy on DSL then put an app on the floppy and it worked!
