gdm3 fails to start if usb keyboard or usb mouse are moved to different ports
I tore down my Debian 6.0.2.1 install yesterday and moved it to a new location in the house when I reconnected the mouse and keyboard I connected them into different ports. I then booted the system and it froze when loading Gnome. When I moved the usb devices back to their original locations and it booted without trouble. What could possible cause this problem, shouldn't the ports be automagically found?
Thanks.
