shared library issue


Hi,

I am facing libraries issue while running one command, i even tried installing using yum but still its shows same

PHP Code:
[root@mindnic-06 ~]# /usr/software/bin/sudo /sbin/ifconfig
/usr/software/bin/sudoerror while loading shared librarieslibc.so.6cannot open shared object fileNo such file or directory
[root@mindnic-06 ~]#

[root@mindnic-06 ~]# yum install libc.so.6*
Loaded pluginsrhnpluginsecurity
This system is not registered with RHN
.
RHN support will be disabled.
Setting up Install Process
No package libc
.so.6available.
Nothing to do
[
root@mindnic-06 ~]
Please help me resolve this issue

RHN means you have RedHat installed, which does not use yum. However, having the directory "/usr/software/bin" sounds like not RedHat, so which is it? Have you mixed rpms from different distros on one system?

I am using Centos YUM repository and I installed few RPM packages and it worked, but facing issues only with shared libraries..

when I issue ldd command i get something like this.

looks like someone installed an incompatible version of sudo
sudo originally located in /usr/bin I think
