Angry 127.0.0.1 No response received -- 1000ms

Hi mates

i have rented a cisco 515E pix firewall, but the pix supplier made a statement the for config, he will be charging more...so i started configuring the pix on my own using the console cable i got into the device.

now the issue is

i enabled the telnet to get access from inside.

but i am not able to reach the pix

so i tried pinging eth1 and eth0 by doing the following

1.Ping inside 192.168.1.1 response received -- 0ms

2.ping outside 202.145.89.2 response received -- 0ms

So the self pinging is successful

now try
3. ping inside 192.168.1.102
but the result made weired..

No responses received -- 1000ms

same case in outside also..

i have connected properly both inside and outside interfaces

what could be the problem

howto solve it now?

Are you sure you have given 192.168.1.102 t to any interface? And, check again routing.
