i used to love the way windows stopped working and i would need to fix it...and now i love the way linux stops working and fixing that.......mac os is way too reliable for my taste
Linux is a bit of a pain because you have to break it. So you normally know what's wrong cause it's your fault. That's why new packages are great ! more potential for problems !
And a special thank you to NVidia for those freeze that occur every now and again for no apparent reason and without leaving ANYTHING in the logs anyway.
only if you take up video editing with final cut pro
*sigh* I need to start film making again...
all other times I touch macs with a 10 foot pole.
quicktime is nice though
(what am I rambling on about?)
I'd definitely buy one if yellow-dog linux would work 100% with all the wireless/ acpi/ modem /etc for the powerbook (without me spending hours getting it working)
I will need a new laptop soon & would prefer a powerbook to a windows laptop
(although pretty happy with my Toshiba Tecra 9100, now I have the wireless working)

yeah, especially when you install the driver for 3d acceleration in suse, and SaX2 insists on saying you can't use it, until you install the driver
