Linux is a bit of a pain because you have to break it. So you normally know what's wrong cause it's your fault. That's why new packages are great ! more potential for problems !

And a special thank you to NVidia for those freeze that occur every now and again for no apparent reason and without leaving ANYTHING in the logs anyway.

Throw your Mac out the window if you get an urge to fix something.

I know, I know. Hardware costs and money to fix and software doesn't, but still.

Macs do all the design stuff. Music, graphics, video, web design, print, you name it. It's not cheap, though.

I'd definitely buy one if yellow-dog linux would work 100% with all the wireless/ acpi/ modem /etc for the powerbook (without me spending hours getting it working)
I will need a new laptop soon & would prefer a powerbook to a windows laptop

(although pretty happy with my Toshiba Tecra 9100, now I have the wireless working)

yeah, especially when you install the driver for 3d acceleration in suse, and SaX2 insists on saying you can't use it, until you install the driver
