Question Bluetooth file transfer

Hi

I've managed to pair and connect my phone with my netbook running deepin linux as per the debian official guide found here: https://wiki.debian.org/BluetoothUser

However when I try to transfer files from my phone to the computer I get a file not sent error message.

At first I suspected some kind of perms issue on the downloads folder, so I tried setting things permissively but to no end.

Digging a little deeper it seems as if users of other distros usually have a way of 'enabling file transfer' via the GUI, for instance in Ubuntu there is the gnome-file-share-properties http://askubuntu.com/questions/13157...over-bluetooth

Other methods involve the installation of ftp servers such as Obex. So I tried the guide over at https://blog.mypapit.net/2007/10/how...ntu-linux.html but when I ran the command obexpushd -B, I get an error saying
"obexpushd: error while loading shared libraries: libopenobex.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I don't really understand the error and I've tried googling it but I'm also finding some of the answers a little obtuse for my level of knowledge.

Can anyone help me out here?

Did you find a solution? I am encountering the same error.

obexfs:error while loading shared libraries: libopenobex.so.1: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory

Thanks

Following up on the search for a solution I
tried to find the missing file on the system.
There is not a trace of a file named:

libopenobex.so.1

However a wildcard search revealed the following
two names:

libopenobex.so.1.7.1
libopenobex.so.2

Is either of the two files the file being sought
by the program? If so do I rename the file to
libopenobex.so.1?

I believe that the program is looking for the file but is looking for it in the wrong location. However, I have since cut over to another distro, one that I will likely be using on other workstations anyway in the future and at some point may invest some time in learning how to customize the appearance of said distro to make it look a little more like Deepin.

On that other distro I have been able to transfer bluetooth files by connecting via the cli with bluetoothctl and then initiating a file transfer from my phone. No problem.
