I installed Deepin from another PC to my hard drive.
After I attached them into my desktop PC it worked, but I had some problems to mount my second and third hard disk.
I switched the bios settings from IDE to AHCI. This fixed the problem.
To get to the point, this fixed also the installation problem with the next button.
I have the same password problem. I have installed from an ISO burned to a DVD. I have installed to the hard drive of a laptop and the installation completed successfully. After rebooting, the login screen will not accept my password. I have done this three times with the same result. I am uninstalling and moving to a distro that works.

I get to the part for password click next then the bar moves a little but nothing I have en left it on all night! Help I have all the new versions it's just not finishing the installation part????
Deepin 2014.1 (latest) -the next button is disabled after putting username, password etc of any type. The thing about "switch the bios settings from IDE to AHCI"... -Well, it's a simple no.
I cannot recommend nor encourage installing Deepin for ANYONE, as all fails upon first stages of install. These things should just breeze through. You guys don't seem to care to test upon most basic things? In any case, don't expect Joe Average or Mary Smith to go hunting about on the internet on "why they can't press next button while installing".
Me personally, got Deepin once installed after 3 attempts. 2 first ones just stalled, and on that particular machine, the "next" button problem did not exist that time. I kinda got a good impression on Deepin, as i loved 'bout everything using it. It's in the beginning of it's journey and all.
Sorry about the rant, but if the installation process isn't smooth sailing, then Deepin is 0/5. Installation issues are the first priority to fix away.
Deepin team are still to do anything concrete on this.
