Unhappy QTCross compiling: Inconsistency detected by ld.so dl-open.c: ... dl_open_worker: ...

Hello,
I am trying to display video on my Linux embedded ARM system (Beaglebone like) using QT.
After compiling all QTs libraries, include all plugins, I have an issue that crushes my Linux target with this message:
Inconsistency detected by ld.so dl-open.c 271 dl_open_worker: Assertion '_dl_debug_initialize(...) == RT_CONSISTENT' failed!
After debuging I have found that this issue cause when new QMediaPlayer object is created (an QT object), it also running the plugin loader during the qmediaplayer object creation.
I have compiled strace and run the program with it, but the logs aren't so clear and don't add any information except that it end with the line: "+++ exited with 127 +++"
I also don't get any dump after this crush.
I also try to get answer from the QT forum but this issue looks like more embedded related.

Can anyone advice please?

I think your crosscompiler and target os have different glibc and/or qt, so it looks like a version mismatch problem.

Hi Pan,
Many thanks for you response,
My QT version 5.5 is same in both, crosscompiler and target.
The libc version is 2.8 also on both but I saw something that I am not sure about, on my crosscompiler I have 3 libc files in different locations:
/libc/lib/libc-2.8.so
/libc/arm4t/lib/libc-2.8.so
/libc/thumb2/lib/libc-2.8.so
When only the first one "/libc/lib/libc-2.8.so" is similar to the one I have in the target according to file size.
Also on my crosscompiler I have found a libc archive file under:
/libc/usr/lib/libc.a

Can you explain please?
* What is the different between the above 3 libc-2.8.so files?
* Does the all 3 .so files should be the same?

Thanks again
IL
