Scanning/Patching Offline RHEL6

Greetings,

I have an offline RHEL6 server, and I need to scan it for missing updates. IS there a free utility available for this? Also, does anyone know where I can get updates, without a RHEL subscription? Thanks in advance for your help.

If you don't want to pay for a subscription you should use CentOS6 rather than RHEL6. CentOS is a binary compile made from RHEL sources. Most things that work on RHEL will work on CentOS though they won't be "supported". (e.g. Oracle "supports" products on RHEL but not on CentOS even though you can often make them work on CentOS). Presumably support isn't important to you if you don't want to pay for the RHEL subscription.
