Although technically this still isn't 'Games on Linux' as such!
If you figure it out I'd be curious to know how.

Technically it is be possible, since Valve's Steam Link is based on an Arm CPU. The problem is that Valve did not make their Steam client for ARM publicly available, so will have to come up with a different solution than using Steam's built-in streaming capabilities.

Spider-Man 3. I especially like open worlds like this one (and previously Spider-Man 2, but that one is limited). Maybe some soccer and gridiron games like PES and NFL.

I actually think it's better to play on a console (PlayStation 1 to ∞), unless playing an FPS.

Has anyone asked for the Sudoku from Haiku? It is the most fun Sudoku I have tried. I regularly boot a Haiku CD just to spend a few minutes to play the Sudoku puzzle.

Be noted there is a "gallium-nine" patch for wine(-staging) 1.9.15, at least AlienBOB packaged one patched for Slackware.
This means lots of windows native apps (games included) run on native (or better) FPS if Radeon (tm) is used for acceleration.
This is for Slackware 14.2 32, 64 and multilib

how about a virtual machine infrastructure for ARM so we could run Android without reboot?

or an android kind of wine? Aine? for Android native binaries run on Linux?

no?

Ummm try KVM it has the ability to emulate arm, ppc, sparc, etc
What you are proposing won't work, wine itself depends on having an x86 cpu on the host and it just translates the calls from win32/64 api to wineapi equals.
Running non-x86 code on linux with an x86 host or any other OS for that matter requires emulation as the instruction set is going to be different for every CPU arch.

Not quite sure about that, but ARM/Android should run in a chroot just fine, as the main differences are the libc and the display server in use. Just theoretical never tried it, though, so I might be wrong about that.

a chroot to a booting seqence used to install Android to that "chroot" environment?

would it work?
wine has perfect interaction with host OS, restores desktop and all, mere chroot wouldn't. :/
not to mention android is full screen OS, and pretty captive on HID and devices.

i imagine we would require a wrapper of some sort, but that's another story?

maybe port ADB, and SDK to ARM?

Bump, but this is a sticky so... :P

I'd like to see Sonic Mania (an upcoming game that looks absolutely amazing) get an optimised Linux release considering it can run on low-end machines and looks really promising.

Babas Chess

I would be willing to purchase a compiled .deb pkg of Babas Chess for Debian Linux.
