How to set up Dialup Internet on Sabayon 3.1!
Hi I'm pretty new to linux. Well 2 years new so i guess i can say i know my way around the distros. But here is my problem. I downloaded Sabayon 3.1 mini edition (basically a gentoo installation) and i can never figure out how to set up a dial up connection. Now everywhere i go it tells me to emerge wvdial ...well how can i do that with no internet connection. But other places i read it says that wvdial is already in sabayon so they tell me to just open a konsel and type man wvdialconf or man wvdial, wvdialconf, or once again wvdial. And none of these works. It just says command does not exist. So i try using Kppp and i set up my account and stuff. But what port do i use for the modem i mean how do i know lol??? I know my modem is linux compatible i made sure it was. But it would be soooo greatly appreciated if sombody could help me out with this problem and just give me an easy step by step way to do this.
