I have been enjoying Linux for about 3-4 years now mostly Debian but recently have changed to Slackware for the learning experience. This spring I will be finishing an AS in PC management, it seems very Windows heavy and I want to work with Linux based system.

My question is;
What does one do to make a career around Linux and what would be a career around Linux? It seems to me that for Linux there are only certifications should I save money and take them?. What would put me in the right direction other than to continue to use Linux.

The biggie is network and system administration. Most end user work stations are Windows, but most of the file, web, application, and database servers of the world are Linux.
