This is my first post to the forum. Im a newbie to linux.
when I use #sndconfig in Redhat 9, it says

Model : Intel Corp. | 82801EB AC'97 Audio

and then after clicking 'OK'
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Intel Corp. | 82801EB AC'97 Audio is not supported
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
How does it recognize my sound card or do I have to do something else
Plz help me to fix this problem.
Hoping that this forum doesn't disappoint me.

If I were you I'd look into Alsa http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc...odule=intel8x0 It probably won't be easy to get sound working, you'll need to do a lot of reading but I'm sure it's possible. Good luck.
