Chromium crashes a lot, and apps hang on formerly stable system.

So, I have Ubuntu installed via Rufus on a Huawei Matebook 15 with an AMD 3700 and 8GB RAM. I've run this system for 2 years, had zero issues, and everything has been fine. But in the last couple of weeks, Chromium has been crashing a lot. Same with Chrome, Firefox, Edge. The system also hangs a lot. I figured maybe it was because the install was running out of space, so installed the latest Linux Mint Cinnamon on an external SSD. Same issue. I figured maybe it was the memory, so ran the Windows hardware check. Everything came back fine. So I thought perhaps it was something new in Chrome. Went back to a real old release, same issue. Rolled back the Kernel to 5.15.25, issue isn't quite as bad, but still happens. When Chrome tabs crash, it reports a variety of error messages, often SIGILL, but also SIGTERM and others. As I said, this system has been rock solid until a few weeks ago, so I am at a loss as to why it's suddenly become so unstable.

Anyone have any ideas?

Might wish to look through /var/logs and run some dmesg commands I guess.

https://www.tecmint.com/dmesg-commands/

Unit is too new to break already in my opinion.

Wont hurt I guess to run smartctl and https://linuxhint.com/run-memtest-ubuntu-22-04/memtest either in Ubuntu or Mint or whatever is on there now.

Kinda curious about your hardware specs. See if this works . If it does. Can you reply with that in between code tags in advanced reply box < hash tag in toolbar > Here is what I am posting with
