Couldnt find an interrupt point, MX Linux is very slow
Hello!
I have installed MX Linux on my laptop, an Acer. At the same time also on a Toshiba laptop, both laptops previously had Linux Mint on them and everything was fine.
Now both are very slow and the mouse keeps hanging until the computer freezes completely after 30 minutes.
Error message on startup is: Couldt find an interrupt endpoint 1-2:1.1
And also something with Bios, but it's too fast, I can't read it that quickly. VMX disabled by Bios or something like that.
When I disconnect the mouse and external hard disk from the USB port, no error message appears, but the computer is still very slow.
Thank you for your help and thoughts.
Greetings Mookait26

My time is set correctly even the cmos battery is iffy. I use online time to keep time
HTH
Edit: Before install. I let the media check finish 1st before installing also .
If rokytnji's suggestion does not highlight a particular problem, I would be inclined not to waste further time and simply reinstall Linux Mint (or try another distro).
Sorry, iam new to linux. I dont know what to do exactly. Only thing i did is:
sudo smartctl -x /dev/sda
That functioned.
