Linux Mint 17 Qiana Cinnamon with BlackIce theme and Nuvola icon set. The icon set is available in Mint's repos. The theme can be found in Cinnamon's theme manager when you have it search for new themes on the Internet.
I just wiped my SSD on my puny H-P Ultrabook, and installed Backbox Linux 4.0. However, I push a few buttons, and virtualize Microsoft 7 with VirtualBox, and that other OS X with VMWare.
Meanwhile, trying to Blog, and working on my Site.
Got bored of Greybird, so I extracted Ambiance-Blue from the Ambiance and Radiance Colors tarball, combined that with Faenza-Cupertino-Dark for the icons, and I'm using http://1darthvader.deviantart.com/ar...-WIP-106991416 for the wallpaper. Also, finally upgraded to a monitor that can take full HD through my computer's DVI out.
We were out, and about, and flexing our Linux / Open Source muscle. We are pros. We were wondering about that Yosemite, but it is like the same old song. People pay for this?
Here's my workspace on Ubuntu 14.04 showing myself and my youngest son at our favourite fishing spot in Mozambique. Weather indicator at top showing temp. for my location and our oldest daughter's in Canberra, Oz. System monitor, dropbox, temperature monitor, Skype icon, hplip and day/date/time per second completes the top bar. Current projects shown on desktop and launcher hidden.
