Urpmi database

I'm getting closer to having back some missing programs. The message now that comes up is " Installation failed, you may want to update your urpmi database" Can someone please tell me what to use or where to go?

Well the easiest way is to fire up the Mandrake Control Center and go to Software sources manager...in there, just click on your sources and click "update"

OR, you can do it from the command line, its urpmi.update (I think) and I'm not sure what the exact syntax is but you can try "man urpmi" and "man urpmi.update" for details I think.

It may help.
