I am transitioning into a sys admin role from a traditional American job; this conference will jump-start my technical and network skills. I would love to go.
I have worked with Oracle for years. In the past 3 years I have done more and more work with MySql. It is fast and easy to use now that they have made stored procedures easier to use it makes it a very workable database. I would love to attend a conference to sharpen my skills and get a chance to mingle with other MySql developers. I have left the 9 to 5 world and work from home, I guess that would be telecommuting. But that means I don't have the corporate resources to attend conferences. I'd like to talk to some real live people face to face. Help! I'm locked in my computer:-)
Thanks for ur offer.
i am from india working for indian government in science and technology dept of Ministry of communication and Information Technology.
Travel is unaffordable by self. Any other viable option from ur side.
I work as a software developer for a small startup company. We have used MySQL as the backend database of a web-based application for five years, but none of us have MySQL expertise. I would like to learn how to better scale our solution. Thank you for the offer!
I work for a small website and we use mysql anywhere we're in need of a database; content serving, cacheing, log analysis, etc. I manage and code almost all of the database related areas. I'd love to go the the conference because it's a chance to meet really smart/cool people. Last time I put up my own money to go, I got my mysql cookbook signed by Paul Dubois...
