Agreed, I always appreciated his blunt honesty and strict standard. "Don't F/U userspace" is classic, as were his vents on/about openSUSE and their love affair with all things root (you don't have permission to print).
Reminds me that I need to create a GitLab account to mildly suggest a branch change. They still have a "master" branch...!
Its funny how FORCED diversity tends to have the opposite effect, kinda like oh, I dunno - Affirmative Action? Instead of letting the chips fall where they may and let things develop organically, you get nothing but moral busybodies trying to police everything. Which by the way you see a lot of projection from that side to begin with, accusing everyone of being an ist - sexist, racist, etc. Which makes you wonder, who is REALLY the bigot ?
