Happy Birthday and congratulations Jeremy.

I don't particularly post a lot on the forum but from my reading you can see that this is a nice place to be.

Looking forward to the next seven years.

Regards,

Thumbs up

Jeremy,

Apparently it's been 4.5 years since I last logged in. Life has definitely got a grip on me.

I'm glad to see that you're still managing this great site.

Here's hoping for 7 more!

We've racked up almost 3,000,000 posts and 300,000 members in those seven years. I'd like to thank each and every one for participating, you are what make LQ what it is. I'd like to once again thank the LQ mods, who are 100% volunteer and spend a huge amount of personal time here. A large part of this sites success can be directly attributed to the mods. They are truly fantastic.

I'm happy to say that even after seven years, LQ shows no signs of slowing down. We continue to grow at an astounding rate while staying true to our original goals. I think we've managed to stay as friendly and welcoming today as when we had 3,000 members. That's no small feat. While slightly delayed, we have some exciting code updates just around the corner. Stay tuned.

Here's to the next seven!

Perhaps - that will depend on someone paying the electricity bills, and DNS bills, and software surviving the hard times on the 'net, and the systems being intact and connected to the rest of the 'net, and........ lots of things!
