dante-server won't log

Hello,
I'm running danted as a socks proxy.on Debian i386 (Athlon XP)
In the syslog I get the message
Code:
Oct 13 19:49:41 server danted[530]: Oct 13 19:49:41 (1602611381.305438) danted[530]: warning: openlogfile(): could not open or create logfile "/var/log/danted/sockd.log" for writing: Read-only file system
Danted runs as user dante (I created that for this purpose) and I confirmed that with htop.

If I log in as dante I can write in this folder, but the service doesn't want to do so.
What is the problem here?
I like an proper logging to find out an issue why it stops after the first start via systemd.

Kind regards
Pentium4User

Please issue a "ls -la /var/log/danted/sockd.log" in a console and post the output here.

After a restart of the machine the error didn't appear again, I think it is fixed.
The log file hasn't been created and doesn't exist.
Code:
admini@server:~$ cat /etc/danted.conf
logoutput: /var/log/danted/sockd.log
internal: enp0s15 port = 1080
external: enp0s15

user.privileged: root
user.notprivileged: dante
clientmethod: none
socksmethod: username

client pass {
        from: 0/0 to: 0/0
        log: error # connect disconnect
        socksmethod: username
}

#generic pass statement - bind/outgoing traffic
socks pass {
        from: 0/0 to: 0/0
        command: bind connect udpassociate
        log: error # connect disconnect iooperation
}
admini@server:~$

Is this a new error then? I understood the file has to exist when danted is active (e.g. when you log in as dante an do a write operation).

I also think it should be created by danted when it starts, but it doesn't happen.
danted starts fine and I can access it.

edit file: /lib/systemd/system/danted.service
add ReadWriteDirectories=/var/log to [Service]

systemctl daemon-reload
service danted restart
