New member introducing myself to LQ Members - long time linux user
Hello All,
I am an avid user of Linux. Been using it since good old Redhat Linux 9.0 days. I have joined LQ long back, but my apologies for not introducing myself to the team members earlier.
I think LQ is a really fine place with brilliant people sharing their knowledge to help each other.
I also want to take this opportunity to THANK all the community members. The LQ community has benefitted me alot. Thank you once again...
Recently, I have worked with FC11 to install and configure samba. For the shares, I connected and mounted the WD mybook world edition 1TB via cifs.
The access privileges are controlled by Samba and not by the WD mybook share settings.
