I thought I had forgotten my password, but it was actually the username I had forgotten. I could not find a way to get to a "For got password or username option" in the app, so I created a new account to which I have not yet posted. I have since found my username for the previously existing account and have been able to log in, and it is this account under which I am creating this post and to which I wish to continue to post. How can I delete the newly created account?

We do not remove accounts that have posts associated with them. Setting the two email preferences to "No" means that you will never hear from us again. We will remove accounts that do not have any posts associated with them, and do periodically automatically remove accounts that have no posts and have been inactive for an excessive amount of time. If you have never posted and would like your account removed, please use the Contact Us form and let us know. For accounts that do have posts associated with them, contact us if you'd like all personal information removed and the account anonymized.
The mentioned Contact Us form is linked at the bottom of every page.
So I was about to try this, but the resultin page has a recipient field. Who is the recipient? Also it is suggested that this be done while logged in. Logged as I am now, or in the account I wish to delete? I'm still working through the app.
