...and without further ado the winners of the first contest are:

trickykid - Top Patron
nobody - Top Volunteer

That's right - one prize will go unclaimed. Why? There were two donations made - one was to me (I am not eligible) the other was made to a person who did not signup for an affero username. If he/she had a prize would be on it's way (BTW you can sign up here.)

This week is still wide open though.

Nobody clicks your button because you're not asking them to. If you spend some time answering a question for someone...then just make your last line a request for them to click the button! Otherwise, noone will ever know that you want the book.

Well I recieved the book today as I picked the book instead of Mandrake, quite nice I must say. I got something to read now while flying to my sisters this Christmas.. scanned thru it and looks very interesting. So I'll update everyone when I'm finished with it and tell you what I think.

Another thing I found cool was not just that it was signed by Stallman, but he signed it.. "Happy Hacking, Richard Stallman"

A few reasons I can think of. The patron was not an LQ member, the patron was an LQ member but did not have there affero username filled in or they didn't have an affero username. I am also not eligible.
