Thanks for that I will try to download it again. I remember many arguments over it being a root version and why you should have a non root install version. I think Fedora still allows you a root version will try that again later. Getting a new SSD today so Will start with Windows 10 and dual boot with Fedora I hope they have a better installer than the last time I used it.
No a chap in the office had them I used them. They had labels on saying Linux.
And that was in the 70s? And the chap had downloaded them (the data, not the floppies) from the internet?
I just want to make sure I understand what you're saying 100%.

I think the question is this: Linux did not exist in any form until 1991. There is no way that in the 1970's Linux existed. It would have had to be Unix.

You are wrong I used it long before that true it was unix and had two sets of floppies one saying unix and the others Linux and only text. I was certainly using linux graphics in 1986
