remote admin from 2006
in 2005LE there is the option to remote admin another nix machine and to let your be available for remote admin.
is this feature going to be available in 2006?
i will be installing *nix for a company and i wanted to use mandriva because i am familiar with it and because i can remote admin if they have problems. the other option would be mepis(company i know offers 30 day tech).
although i am familiar and been working with linux for some time this will be my first time installing for a company and being admin. if all goes well they plan on making this a company wide switch.
their current problems are virii, constant reboots, and they can never get ahold of the company tech or he is out of town. as you can see, with linux, these problems can be easily fixed and leave them with a more stable system.
any advice would be appreciated as well.
