Cannot find module

I don't understand this. Every time I do 'modprobe ndiswrapper' it comes up with an error, "cannot find module ndiswrapper". However, if I do 'modprobe -l' it clearly shows it under /lib/modules/2.4.31/misc/ndiswrapper.o.

I'm not too sure how modules under slackware work. Is there a file it needs to be entered into? I am using slackware 10.2.

run /sbin/depmod -a

and then modprobe it.
