Import private key generated from gpg 2.2.10 into gpg 2.0.31

I generated a new keypair on an Arch Linux machine using GPG version 2.2.10
and exported with

Code:
gpg --export-secret-key --armour
I then copied the file to my Slackware 14.2 machine which has GPG version 2.0.31 and attempt to import it with

Code:
$ gpg2 --import private-key.asc
gpg: key BB782F00: secret key imported
gpg: lookup_hashtable failed: Unknown system error
gpg: key BB782F00: public key "John Doe <john@example.com>" imported
gpg: Total number processed: 1
gpg:               imported: 1  (RSA: 1)
gpg:       secret keys read: 1
gpg:   secret keys imported: 1
What does the "lookup_hashtable failed: Unkown system error" mean?

I can clear my .gnupg directory if needed, I don't have any keys on this Slackware machine.
