Since i recompiled my kernel i always have kapm-idled running (what is that?) with user root and PID 3. It is using up at average 35% of CPU time always. I tried to kill it as root, but it won't die!
So what is this kapm-idled program, why is it taking so much CPU time and is there a way to disable it, or kill it if its not anything essencial (although things that start with a "k" are usually kernel related...)
Thanks in advance
