Had a quick peek...
cppy -version bump fixes it, I let the maintainer know.
(correction, the update builds on 15.0, but as UNKNOWN so it's a broken build. It won't be updated there.)
python-pcapy -project is unmaintained, it's fixed in the fork (pcapy-ng)
I have a new slackbuild ready to upload or the existing one can be changed to point to the fork like the arch folks did?

Hi, trying to build scipy3 (after recompiling all scipy3 dependencies) failed on:

(with scicy-1.9.2, like with latest pandas-1.5.0, there is an error that Cython is not correct)

yes, because it was not actually fixed with 0.8.11, it needed other two patches from its git...

FWIW scipy3-1.9.1 that's on SBo builds fine from scratch here on the latest slackware64-current...

yes, had missed the dependencies for pythran; excuses.
BTW, one wants to change the cryptography.info:
instead of downloading 'ouroboros_macro-0.15.5.crate' change this to 'ouroboros_macro-0.15.4.crate' otherwise it won't build (and the md5sum for cryptography also gives an error). I passed this on to Willy as well.

Trying to install libvirt-8.8.0 from SBo-git with sbopkg fails because "storage_sheepdog" support has been removed from libvirt.
https://libvirt.org/news.html
Modifying "/var/lib/sbopkg/SBo-git/libraries/libvirt/libvirt.SlackBuild" by removing the line " -Dstorage_sheepdog=disabled " allows the build to succeed.

thanks a lot Richard for the heads-up, I forgot to remove it when I pushed: I just fixed it!

I need to install flatpack, but the dependency "xdg-desktop-portal" is failing to build due to the requirement "libpipewire-0.2 >= 0.2.6".
Slackware64-current is currently on libpipewire-0.3, and for some reason this is not being recognised as being greater than 0.2.6!

hi Pete,
maybe I'm missing something but xdg-desktop-portal is already included in a full installation of slackware64-current, you shouldn't need to build it.

I think he's talking about xdg-desktop-portal-gtk

that doesn't link to libpipewire, only xdg-desktop-portal does: the version provided with slackware current links to libpipewire-0.3
Code:
# objdump -x /usr/libexec/xdg-desktop-portal | grep NEEDED | grep pipewire
NEEDED libpipewire-0.3.so.0

Agreed
But, only xdg-desktop-portal-gtk is listed as dependency
