I've just set up a new Slackware room in
Matrix. The room address is:
#slackware:matrix.org
Anyone is invited to join. It's public and free. You're going to need a client for this. My recommendation is
riot.im (great in Slackware64 -current), but there are
plenty of others so you can choose from.
For the ones not acquainted with Matrix yet (not that one of Neo), this is from its
FAQ:
Quote:
Matrix is an open standard for interoperable, decentralised, real-time communication over IP. It can be used to power Instant Messaging, VoIP/WebRTC signalling, Internet of Things communication - or anywhere you need a standard HTTP API for publishing and subscribing to data whilst tracking the conversation history.

PS: as I'm the one who set the room up, I'm the only moderator for now. I do not want that role, so if anyone is interested, let me know.
