Unable to install Slackware 14.2 64 bit [UEFI]

Hi All,

I post here after clicking to find similar threads because I don't see anything helpful for my issue.
The story: as many Slackware lovers I have been awaiting for the new release, got it and now can't install.
The installer simply does'nt see the disk/partition reserved to Slackware, it is a desktop machine with 2 HDD: /sda = Windows 10, /sdb = reserved to Linux with 4 partitions (including "swap").
I have been partitioning the disk using "gparted" by live cd, when starting to install Slackware the installer telling me "no partitions, start again".
Cfdisk shows only /sda (the disk with Windows installed), so, according with the instruction of a document (sorry, don't remember the title, it starts with "To use UEFI, or not to use UEFI?"), I have been using "gdisk", it shows /sdb and following the "document" I have been able to create the partitions on it.
The problem is that got nothing because starting "setup" it does'nt see /sdb as before.
The only step I skipped before using "gdisk" is "disable secure boot".
It is that the problem? - I am a bit afraid to do that indeed, don't know if spoiling something and was wishing to do it after installing Slackware.
Don't know if useful to say but on the same machine after failing Slackware installation, I have been able to install Mint 18 64 bit Cinnamon.

Thank you for reading

Using gdisk, did you create GPT partitions on your target drive(s)?

Hi notKlaatu. Yes please, I created 4 partitions (3 for distros and 1 for swap) "EFI" are the ones for distros if I remember properly

That would then not be correct. The partitions you want to use for Linux must have type "Linux" (type 83).

Hi Alien Bob. Assuming I understood properly "the document", it says needing to use hex code "EF00" for distro partition and "8200" for swap

Edit
1 - ...maybe miss something, I try again.
2 - INSTALLED! - I have to say "thank you" to Alien Bob, his hint has been opening the door. Or that document is'nt precise or the problem comes from my not fluent English language

So, one EF, one 82, and two 83. Is this your situation?

WHERE did you find Cfdisk on the live distro? What are the fdisk style programs on it? (I've found Gparted, but not used to it)
Really wish the Slackbook was better as I am currently trying to use the Slackware Live machine, via MicroSDHC, to install on an Thinkpad 11e (Intel N2940 quad core, Approx 500gb blank ssd, 8GB ddr3, bought for this). I had to come over to a relatives house (Windows 10, bleah) as it currently is my only computer, and I am trying to get this on it. (why I want a decent book, didn't currently have online access otherwise). Curmudgeon used to manuals.

@ LinuxUser42: - Hi! I did'nt use Slackware live by Alien Bob, I used "original" Slackware DVD, which is only for installation (no live)
