Which editions were the upgrade to and from? Within the past 24 hours, the latest published TW edition switched from 20240122 to 20240123. Could it be that the round of updates found cause to modify /etc/fstab, resulting in a syntax or other error that causes mounting of /home to fail? Is /home still in /etc/fstab? Does a home subvolume in a btrfs / filesystem still exist?
