Question can i use swaret with vector?

i just installed vector on my laptop, and i was wondering if anyone had tried using swaret with vector, or what potential problems they might see to trying that. vector is based on slackware, right? my laptop is only a 300mhz, and i'd like to install some stuff on there quickly, without having to find, dload, and compile everything. </lazy>
