Hi folks,
I tried to get VL twice today and the second time I got fatal error alert just as it finished d.loading (what I had thought to be a successful torrent transfer) telling me that "something illegal..." had happened (it flashed up and was gone to quickly for me to read it)
After wasting a gig in downloading nothing, i renounced the plan altogether.
In short, I am struggling with slackware (which I would love to tame eventually) and am looking for a slackware-like system with the following characteristics:
1. fast
2. Xfce (no KDE please)
3. codecs-enabled
4. flash-enabled in browser
5. vim
6. latex, and, crucially:
7. CLI-oriented, so that I am forced, or let's say, encouraged forcibly, to use it
I don't feel like wasting another gig in trying to get VL, so,
Question:
1. can someone steer me to a reliable torrent for VL, OR,
2. towards a system which resembles my dream box outlined above in steps 1-7
FYI it appears no torrent is available to download the distro in question. A person
may want to make use of a download manger like DownThemAll and let it go while sleeping, if this is possible -- had to do it with hughesnet at one time.

thanks kindly Hilyard!
I ended up nabbing it after all, using seamonkey's inbuilt dload manager.
Now I have lilo problems ie: getting VL installed alongside slackware;
and connection problems: VL doesn't want to "see" my e353 huawei wireless dongle.
But thanks for the response and I'll be seeing you around i'm sure, as I really liked the look and feel of Vlocity
cheers,
tex
