Question Command to find the version of any database installed in ubuntu 14.04


mysqladmin -u root -p version

this is the command used to get version of MySql database.
similarly how can i get the details of any database installed??

Your best bet for a non database-specific command is probably to look at "rpm -qa". This will list all installed software packages & their versions.
