I'm new to Dragora, not a real geek but have used extensively Fedora, Debian based systems like Kubuntu and Mepis and the lightweight Puppy. I'm using a Rosewill USB wireless adapter that uses the rtl8192cu driver. The device has a few references in lsmod but wicd doesn't recognize it. All other distros which use a 3.x... kernal connect upon inserting except Dragora. I'm sure I'd be delighted with Dragora once the wireless issue is resolved.
The libre kernel is probably why some distros work just fine OOTB and your install does not.

Linux-libre is a project whose aim is maintaining and releasing 100% free distributions of Linux, appropriate to be used in free distributions. It removes software that gets included without source code, with obfuscated source code, or with nonfree licenses; this does not allow the user to modify the software to make it do whatever the user want, which makes the user install additional pieces of nonfree software.
Thank you rokytnji. This wealth of information is likely quite valuable for someone who knows how to apply it. Its apparant that Dragora is to much for my level of knowlege and savy to handle. I'll consider giving it another try when I'm in a situation where I can plug into an ethernet port.
I connected the AirLink101 AWLL5088 card in a shop and nothing happened.
This chip is also used in the first version of the device with the name TP-LINK TL-WN725N. Please note it is a different chip in the second version, TP-LINK TL-WN725N v2.
If i am right and licenses are nonfree then Linux-Libre kernel cannot support these devices as rokytnji said. So it will work, if someone create 100% free drivers for your device.
You have to know that your drivers are located here and you can find info how to install it in folder document/Quick_Start_Guide_for_Driver_Compilation_and_Installation.pdf.
Also it would be a great idea to send an email to Realtek and complain about licenses.
I see lsusb errors in your output and your WiFi device isn't listed (it should list it even if the driver isn't working). just for Sniggles I would swap the usb port with the keyboard and see if lsusb yields different results.
Sadly there is no workaround apart from buying a new device as it requires the kernel firmware. Building a new kernel with the firmware probably defeats the purpose of running a libre distribution...
Keep in mind that Dragora is somewhat completely independent distro since it is not based on any... It looks like some stuff from Slackware could be applied here but not exactly... Surely, Debian is far from being similar and the list goes on...
The same problem I have with my laptop. It is equipped with an Intel wireless card which is not yet supported from free firmware... The best thing is to write a complaint to Realtek as elefher says...
And keep in mind the teachings of RMS: the purpose of using Free distros is not about convenience; it is about freedom!!

There is no free firmware for you card!! That's why wireless is dead!! I have this issue in my laptop and moving it around with ethernet cable connection!! hahahaha... At first, it seemed limited and weird, but now I am used to it!! I'm thinking of removing the Intel card and insert a new one with compatible firmware!! The solution lies out there!! Either Intel publishes free drivers or someone from the community builds it!!
It would be perfect though to go so close to the metal!!
