For now, I may just go back into business for myself making tables, cabinets etc.
I am fortunate that I have a house with a detached garage/shop which I've never had before- for instance I once lived in Tucson AZ in a 8x24 trailer (!) and actually made tables and stuff inside the trailer because it was too hot to make it outside!
LOL I'm 6'4 so you imagine me moving around in a 8'wide x 24' long trailer with a ceiling of 6' lol
Problem is advertising as always- Craigslist is convenient but people are wary of craigslist scammers.
Does anyone have a suggestion of where to advertise besides craigslist?
I only need to earn about $500 a week selling my stuff and can devote my freetime learning IT stuff.
Plus, being my own boss no more grueling 8hr days!
Pics are the table I made and benches mostly in the trailer, constructing the table outside, you can see my truck Big Red is almost bigger than the trailor lol
Last pic is solid mahogany bookcase I made for my mom

Those pictures were great. If you don't have a blog or web site already, do set one up. Again it would serve to showcase your computer skills as well as your woodworking. You can get a domain for around $15 per year and hosting for around $3 per month. If you run something light like a static site generator or even hand-made static pages, you won't need heavier. Remember that you can rent these from anywhere.
In addition to cragslist, I have seen people sell things on facebook.
There was only one time I sold something and insisted on meeting at local police station after seeing some news stories.
But, I guess that may not be as easy for you since you have big/heavy items.
Totally agree with Turbocapitalist about setting up a website.
